Orthotics refers to the medical speciality of using artificial devices in order to support, align, prevent, or correct the function of moving parts of the body. These can often be called

• Insoles or Foot Orthoses
• Splints,
• Braces
• Calipers.

Our clinicians have a range of stock and bespoke orthotics options to prescribe, to ensure that patients have the most current, applicable and lightweight orthotics available. We have strong links with leading suppliers and our own factory in Glasgow, which allows us to offer custom-made insoles, footwear and splints.

In addition to traditional Orthotic production, we utilise cutting-edge production methods such as 3d printing for the manufacture of insoles. 

Our orthotists treat patients across the NHS and privately at our Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayr clinic where we offer the following treatments:

Our orthotic team regularly attend conferences and training events to ensure patients receive the most modern and suitable care. All our clinicians are registered with HCPC and are certified with Disclosure Scotland.

We are experts in the use of Carbon fibre AFOs and KAFOs, Silicon AFOs, 3d Printed AFOs as well as stance control devices such as the Emag and FreeWalk from OttoBock.

Onsite we have the full compliment of Turbomed Xtern trial kits including the paediatric version allowing you to test and feel the benefit this unique device provides.

To aid in selecting the correct orthosis we have a large number of supports in stock and available to try such as most Sprystep AFO's from Thuanse as well as ankle and spinal supports.

We currently offer specialist orthotic services to several sports teams in Scotland. This includes group discounts, specialist treatments and tailored services. Clients of our bespoke orthotic manufacturing services include:
